It’s been 10 years since I last worked as a geography teacher. I have moved on to work in the communications field and I recently realised that all the work I have done has always been related to education or educational services. It’s helping people learn (and finding new ways to build knowledge) that keeps me going.
A short while ago, I ran into one of my former students. I met him when he was 12 years old and now he’s 22. He finished high school, but never graduated from university. A pity? No! He knew he had a passion for working with people, and instead of taking the academic path he landed a job in recruitment, became a specialist in IT solutions and is now a rising star.
Owner of your own development
Once you stop learning, you start dying. At MFN Advies we believe in this saying by Albert Einstein. We believe that when you are in control of your own learning and education it doesn’t matter if you are a university graduate or not, you can master your profession if you keep your knowledge and skills up to date. With the help of today’s technology, cutting edge knowledge is just a click away.
Personalised learning allows students to take control of their own learning
This is one of the reasons MFN Advies works together with Drillster. Drillster is an adaptive learning tool which helps increase and maintains knowledge and it gives you immediate feedback while you are studying. This results in 10% higher study results in 40% less time. With the unique algortithm based upon scientific research, Drillster keeps your knowledge up-to-date and repeats learning objectives before you forget them.
Life long learning
Drillster makes learning fun and it will remind you that learning is an ongoing process, not a destination, it’s important to remember that every person has their own needs when it comes to learning. Technique and face to face (classroom) training go hand in hand. We intend to make learning flexible, diverse and available at different times and in different places.
We wish you lifelong learning!
